Diploma in Clinical cardiology !

Would you like to become a cardiologist after M.B.B.S ?

Yes you can !!! now it is possible to attend a two year full time training course in some of the leading heart hospitals of India and practice cardiology . I heard if one finishes they get to join corporate hospitals with a good pay or they can set up their own practice .

The only disadvantage is , one cannot get trained in interventional cardiology , and one is limited to non-interventional management in cardiology . But this seems to be the shortest way to Cardiology after M.B.B.S., than the most tougest part of MD and DM ;)

  6. Thank you . The hospitals generally conduct interviews .One of our friend who is doing this course said the positions are not competitive .In the same hospitals in bangalore for some reason the dnb cardiology does not get filled up , so u are exposed to alot of stuff in cardio except for the interventional procedures ! Wish you good luck
